Community Events

Being involved and active in the community is a crucial value we instill in the girls as part of our program. We often schedule opportunities for the girls to be involved in community activities and events.

Reconnection, Reconciliation and Resilience –2023

This event is an opportunity to discuss the effects of residential schools and their legacy and is open to the public. It will include a ceremony with Elder presence and teachings and a drumming performance from The Stardale Girls Drumming Group.

Additionally there will be a screening of the film "The Road" created by Stardale Women's Group. Refreshments will also be served.

The ACA is thrilled to bring back a Stampede event to the community of Acadia!

Come out for a pancake breakfast, fun live performances, a line dancing lesson, petting zoo, western themed carnival games and glitter tattoos. You really don’t want to miss this event!
