  • Tracy Wrubleski

    PROGRAM MANAGER

As a lifelong champion of people and possibilities, I believe in harnessing the power of community and collaboration to help overcome barriers for vulnerable youth and populations. As Program Manager, I generally work behind the scenes to ensure that our staff, volunteers, and families have the resources and tools needed to move forward and achieve great things together. Outside of my passion for the non-profit sector, I have three adult children who fill my heart with joy and am the leader of a very obnoxious Chihuahua gang that never fails to entertain.

  • Michaela Tomic

    COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Using our Stardale platforms to voice the girls stories and unique perspectives is the most important part of my job here at Stardale. I’m so proud to participate in an organization that amplifies young Indigenous voices and sets them on a solid path for their future. My main role is to manage all of our communications channels including email, website, social media and more. You’ll also find me behind the camera at Stardale events capturing snapshots of the girls activities.

  • Tessa Johnston

    YOUTH COORDINATOR

Throughout my years of working with youth in both residential treatment and in group care, one word comes to mind overall; resilience. Sometimes we all need that extra reliable care, understanding, support, and guidance; especially while trying to navigate through different barriers or simply different bumps along the road of growing up. Seeing the youths abilities to work through these challenges while recognizing that they to have a voice, as well, the capability to pave their own paths in a positive way is an incredible honour and why I do what I do.

  • Cheri Clarance

    CASUAL YOUTH WORKER

I really enjoy working with youth, I have experience in many different rolls from group homes to being a youth worker at an alternative school to running a program for youth engagement in a small rural town where actives and opportunities are limited. What I like the most is building relationships over time and fostering confidence through experiences with support.

  • Stephanie Shaver

    TUTOR

I am an avid math and science tutor who has been working with the girls since the pandemic lockdown in 2020 to provide educational support where needed. The highlight of my work with the Stardale girls is seeing them realize how smart they are and the possibilities that are in store for their futures. Seeing them go on to support each other and their siblings in their studies is the greatest reward there is.
